Well mum doesn't believe in New Years Resolutions well, for this main reason why wait till a particular time of year to make a positive change, any day in the year will do just fine.

We wish you all a very happy new year. We also never make new year's resolutions, not for mom's reason, but because we can never carry them out. And Oatie, I can only speak for the US, but all American police have a disability of one sort or another...that's why they are police. You'll make a great sheriff, probably the cutest one ever.
