Here is the photo of Oatie's hips... The Dr said that his hips are perfect and even though he can't endorse ABR, he says to keep going with it as Oatie is in pretty good shape.
They were really nice and Oatie has a review in a years time.
Oatie later on made pudding for everyone he made some rock cakes... and English Classic... although out School Rock Cakes were as hard as rock, they should be like a fruit bun consistency and the trick is add one tablespoon of milk! and then they are soft and moist... he mixed everything, his rock cakes were so good that I kind of polished off more than my fair share! Oatie is keen to make some more soon but wants to try blueberries instead of sultanas... (Swiper the fox lives on Blueberry hill)
I'm sorry there isn't a photo of the finished product... like I said we and particularly I demolished them... they were the best rock cakes I've eaten in AGES!
Love the picture of the hips and pelvic area..looks like the structure is well in place..of course, the Dr. can't endorse ABR, he would have rater cut and patched them into this beautiful position...I'm sure it's onward and upward from here...Greetings from cold Falmouth, MA...23 F here this a.m.
ReplyDeleteDear Phil, Ahhh Thank you, We didn't let them do the MRI of Oatie as they want to give him a general, for that and I'm like... his Brain damage isn't going anywhere... so they can wait till he can lie still without a general!
Delete6 weeks till our next Montreal trip!
I love that he's cooking/baking with you!!! Mine would rather put toothpicks in their eyes. Alex brought home a recipe the other day and asked me to make it. When I said it would be nice if he helped, he said he did---he brought the recipe home for me to make!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Lizbeth, I love that toothpicks! lol! Oatie used to like baking but used to cry if he couldn't mix it... but now he just loves it and wants to bake everyday,... the problem is that his baking is so good that It's not good for my waistline! ROL (Roar of laughter!)
DeleteA year ago he wouldn't touch anything gooey that included melted chocolate... now he's totally into his soggy gooey foods and even ate a cut open cherry tomato, I know that we're from England and like our "afternoon tea" lol! but Oatie was extreme even for the UK, he even ate his Banana with a fork!
Great update must be so nice to see the ABR is paying off. Way to go Mom!!! The baking sounds delish!!
ReplyDeleteDear Sherry,
ReplyDeleteThank you, at least we don't have to fend off some "medical experts" that might want to cut him up! and that there isn't anything physically restricting him walking. The Baking is delicious... the last few times I made that recipe it failed... but when he does it, it works!
